TheShadowLab is an independent collection of research, experiments, creative work, software, and games by BLGardner. The projects do not all belong to the same discipline, but they share the same purpose: exploring an idea far enough to see what it can become.
Some projects are practical tools. Others are early-stage concepts, research frameworks, game designs, or stories that began as remembered dreams. The site documents both the things that became finished work and the ideas that are still evolving.

TheShadowLab is the personal project space of BLGardner, an independent researcher and self-taught technologist whose work spans AI research, software, electronics, game development, creative writing, and digital products.
There is no single category that describes everything here. The common thread is curiosity, experimentation, and a willingness to build something simply to find out whether it can be done.
